"Que" Wiggins is a certified firearms instructor and active member of DC's Black shooting community. She leads every CGC Queer Gun Club Shootaround through her organization, Tubman Survival Academy, with technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and genuine warmth. Whether it's your first time at a range or your fiftieth, Paquita creates an environment where you can learn, grow, and feel completely at home.
Sijara Eubanks is a UFC veteran, BJJ Black Belt with 18+ years in martial arts, and Fight Director based in Washington, DC. She built Common Ground Collective to create the space she always wanted — a home for Black queer women to train, shoot, connect, and belong completely.

If you don't own a firearm, no problem — guns are provided for all participants at no extra charge. Either way, you'll need to purchase your own ammo at the range. Budget around $20–40.
Closed-toe shoes and ammo money are must-haves. Eye and ear protection will be provided. Firearms are provided — you do not need to own a gun. If you bring your own firearm, ensure you are following all applicable state laws for transporting firearms and ammunition.
It's a 100-yard outdoor range in Marriotsville, MD. Pistols, rifles, and shotguns are all permitted. Whether you're a first-time shooter or an experienced marksman, there's something for every level. Exact address is released to registered participants only after payment confirmation.
Yes — for safety reasons, all participants must wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that covers cleavage. This is a range safety requirement, not optional. Please plan accordingly before the event.
